Lakka consists of traditional houses, beautiful streets and small squares. Around Lakka there are olive-trees, pines and cypresses that impress the visitor. You can admire the beautiful sunset from the Lighthouse and visit the sea cave Ipapanti which was a refuge for the submarines of the Allies during the Second World War.

 

The visitor can arrive at every point of Paxi through the available roads and trails. Port and capital of the island is Gaius, which despite the strong tourist traffic, it retains its traditional color. Near Paxos are the islets Moggonisi and Kaltsonisi. Along the western coast are the islets Marmaro, Katergo and Ortholithos, Agios Nikolaos and Panagia.

 

The beaches of the island Harami, Kanoni, Plani, Arkoudaki, Orko, Lakos, Levrehio, Marmari, Kipos, Kipiadi, Glyfada and Monodendri, are beautiful and they are waiting to travel you to their green-blue waters.

Paxos

Full of olives trees, pines, cypress trees and shrubs, with beautiful beaches, picturesque bights, enchanting marine caves, the Paxi islands have settlements with genuine samples of Ionian architecture. The visitor can reach every place of Paxi via the streets and the paths of the island.

Gaios is the capital and the port of the island, which, despite the big tourist trade, maintains its traditional color.
